Fiorangela,
Stuart Levy in effect is an Aipac operative subverting the best interests of the American people while acting in an official capacity within the US Treasury Dept. Most of the senators and congressmen are either dupes, stooges, or just frightened by the power of Aipac and its affiliates and fellow travelers.
Rehmat – the story of manipulation of US pension funds by zionist organizations, including UJF, has not been told boldly enough. Once again using Iran as the boogey man, zionist organizations embarked on a nationwide campaign to induce state employees’ and teachers pension funds to divest from shares in international companies doing business with Iran, EVEN WHEN and EVEN THO those positions formed the safest and surest portion of the pension funds’ portfolio.
California was the first state to so dives and was used as a model by UJF. Today, California’s pension fund is bankrupt. Cause and effect relationship? That would be unfair to assert. But it certainly didn’t help California’s pensionersand pension fund managers to have to navigate around threats of financial punishment from zionists AS WELL AS the normal difficulties of maintaining a massive portfolio.
Similarly, when the US economy is in deep trouble, why has the US Treasury created an office, directed by Stuart Levey, to go around the world threatening and strong-arming companies that do business with Iran, exacting fines from them for transacting with Iran? Doesn’t the US Treasury Dept have enough to do to keep the US fiscal house in order?
I get very angry at Israel and want to lash out at Israelis — punish them into submission. At the same time, I am very defensive of Iran and become angry at US foreign policy that seeks to punish Iran. I admire Kinzer, so when he says, “If we want to see Israel take its place in the world, we need to deal with them gently,” I pay attention, and attempt to revise my thinking and my attitude.
I’m not there yet, however. The fiasco of US becoming furious that Turkey-Brazil had disrupted the US rush to sanction, that is, punish, Iran, is the very behavior Kinzer warns against. But the US has never treated Israel with anything but sloppy and foolish indulgence. So I’m not sure how much more understanding Israel needs or is entitled to or will be good for Israel’s future. If Israel were my kid, I’d be looking for a tough-love intervention. After I’d taken away the car keys.
According to Gordon Duff, London Times story outlining nuke attack on Iran cited as Israeli deception to manipulate US stock market.

The Iranian foreign minister, Mottaki, today called attention to the failure of the US to make good use of the negotiating opportunity afforded by the Brazil-Turkey agreement.
A good talk, but did the Ustream stuff suddenly stopped before it was over?
Bravo, re “mindset” of the US that Iranians are crafty and that negotiations cannot succeed. So, push for sanctions in order to chalk up a “win” in the “win column” ( sanctions for their own sake). Even when they will be counter-productive, and even, apparently, when the failure of the sanctions is something many of those seeking the sanctions actually wish to see.
I wonder if Barack Obama will ever dare to seek advice fromer Senator Maurice Robert (Mike) Gravel (1969-81 who was asked by the Philadelphia Jewish Voice in 2007, during his bid for Democrat nomination for the 2008 presidential election: “You criticized Senator Obama for not taking military option off the table regarding Iran. what should Israel do if Iran looks like it has or will acquire a nuclear weapon?” Mike’s response was: “Should do nothing. Should do nothing. My God, it’s none of their business if Iran has a nuclear weapon….Scientists tell us that they would not have it for five to ten years. But they’re so affraid of us, with our stupid statements about axis of evil”.
After the UNSC passed the Israeli crippling sanction against Islamic Republic last week – Mike Gravel in interview with Press TV, said that the US “inciting conflict to trigger war”.

Good program! Is it generally agreed here that Obama has not seriously reached out toward Iran?
